Welcome to wikicircles Meta

wikicircles is a family of community wikis for hobbies — real gear reviews, recipes, and hard-won know-how from the people who actually do it, free of ads and open for anyone to improve. This is Meta: the hub for the platform itself — accounts, new-wiki requests, and the handful of norms that apply across every wiki.

How accounts work

You have one wikicircles account that works on every wiki in the family — register once, here or on any wiki, and your username is the same everywhere.

Being signed in lets you read every wiki. To edit a particular wiki you join it — one click on that wiki's "Contribute" link. Joining one wiki doesn't sign you up to edit the others; you opt in to each community you actually want to contribute to.

Get involved

Help run the place

Meta is itself a wiki, and these pages are meant to be improved. If something here is unclear or out of date, sign in and fix it — unlike the topic wikis, Meta is open to every signed-in account.
